This week has been packed full...
Club RED - we learned and enjoyed reading non-fiction books, we now know where to find them in our school library. Hopefully everyone is reading every day and colouring their heart.
Hand Washing Presentation on Wednesday, we saw germs under a special light!
Dental Presentation from Sonya on Thursday - we learnt about sugar bug houses and how we have to brush our teeth!
Five Senses - we have learned lots about our senses. During Explorations on Thursday we started different stations where we got to guess what we were feeling, smelling and tasting! At the hearing stations we listened to music and then drew a picture of how it made us feel. On the IPads we used our sight to explore Seience 360 and found some real cool pictures.
On Thursday we brought home a large piece of paper which we are suppose to create a special "100 Day Poster". This is a homework project and must be returned by next Wednesday, Feb. 13.
We also worked on our face projects about our 5 senses with our buddies!
On Friday we made Valentine mailboxes with heart creatures and learnt a Popcorn Song!
It was exciting that Jordyn's mom commented on our blog, any parents who want to make a comment please do!
PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO SHARING NEXT WEEK DUE TO THE SHORT WEEK. IT IS GOING TO BE A VERY BUSY WEEK. ENJOY YOUR FAMILY DAY ON MONDAY, WEDNESDAY IS PJ DAY AND BRING YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK TO SCHOOL, THURSDAY IS VALENTINE'S DAY AND ALSO REMEMBER THAT FRIDAY IS A PRO D DAY.
