Division 9’s March News
Hopefully more of you are accessing the blog and getting a
chance to look at the different photos we have included of the students. Our bulletin board outside the classroom also
has a calendar and this newsletter, but if you need a hard copy please let us
know.
February was a very busy but fun month. Thanks to Jaxon’s, Jordyn’s, Cole’s,
Karman’s, Hila’s mom’s for driving to skating, it was once again a very
successful field trip. Hopefully all of
you are reviewing your body mastery learning at home, we will be testing all
the students this week. Ms Lemire will
be with our class for a just few more weeks.
We have now started our Nutrition unit, just a reminder please send any
flyers as we will be using them for a special food project. In math we have been studying place value
focusing specifically on the number of tens and ones in a given number. Over the past month it appears that more and
more students are not reading their JRR reading books regularly (many are
getting left at school), please try to read these daily. Thanks.
With spring break just around the corner we have only 2 weeks of school,
but we have a lot of curriculum that we will be covering during this time. Don’t forget conferences will be next
Tuesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 14th, the sign-up sheet is in
the hallway or please send us a note in the planner with a time that would work
for you

& Melissa Lemire
