Thanks to those of you that were able to join us for family reading this week. We will continue this but on Friday we will have a special BATTY family reading and are hoping that as many parents as possible can come so we can show you some of the cool bat books we have made!
Ms Morrison taught us a science lesson on bat needs and their different bat habitats. We learned that some bats in British Columbia are endangered. We are learning lots of new bat words!
The symphony today was amazing. The highlights were the Star War song, all the different instruments the man had in his kitchen, when he changed the rhythm to a song and we tried to guess it, learning all the percussion instruments, the beautiful theatre and when the spot lights changed colours and as Morgan put it EVERYTHING!! Thank you to Emily's Dad for joining our class and to all the parents for making this field trip possible! Also to the PAC for their financial support to help pay for the bus. ***Next week we are going to make some instruments during centres.
A skating notice went home this week for Friday, December 7th, please return asap.
Scholastic order? Someone put a scholastic order in my mailbox but unfortunately didn't put your name or your child's name on the order form - you ordered Lego Ninjago Activity Book and you paid $8.52 cash. Please let me know who you are so I can give you the book when it arrives. Thanks
