Thanks to Geena's, Jaxon's, Cole's, Emma's, Karman's, Jordyn's and Kendra's parents for driving for our field trip to the public library today. We toured the library, the librarian read us a story and we also acted out another story (ask me what animal I was that was trying to help Colin not be scared).
Then we got our library cards in a special lanyard and were able to choose a book. Please remember these books are returned to the public library not our school library.
Ms Morrison (our student teacher) taught us two neat BAT lessons. One we brainstormed and learned about bat physical features and the other was an art project that we made a real cool bat using our hands as its wings! Next week we will finish these and have them flying in our tree and the hall down to Ms Roberts class. We continued working at our bat reader's workshop and math stations.
Next week please remember...
PAJAMA DAY ON TUESDAY!
VSO FIELD TRIP NEXT FRIDAY BE AT SCHOOL AT 8:15!!
